As part of the Texas HB 2 PREP Teacher Pathways, educator preparation programs and districts will implement three pathways: Traditional, Residency, and Alternative Pre-Service. This workshop focuses on building high-quality post-baccalaureate residencies and Alternative Pre-Service pathways. Participants will explore what strong models look like in practice and examine the costs and benefits of each approach, including cost modeling for educator preparation programs, districts, and aspiring teachers.
