US PREP is excited to invite our coalition members and special invited leaders from across the country to join us in San Antonio, Texas, for the US PREP National Learning Tour.
Over two days, participants will hear how policy, partnerships, and persistence are driving meaningful change in educator preparation and strengthening the educator workforce. We'll explore the strategies, systems, and relationships that have helped move this work from individual programs and initiatives toward a more coherent statewide approach.
What Participants Will Experience
Five stops on the tour
Hear how statewide policy, state department leaders, local education agencies, educator preparation programs, community colleges, researchers, and partners are working together to design and scale high-impact educator workforce strategies and school staffing structures.
Visit leading districts, universities, and partners to see the work in action, including teacher residencies, Pipeline to Leadership Strategic Staffing, mentoring, and Grow Your Own pathways.
Explore key findings and outcomes from the Learning Policy Institute (LPI), the Center for Innovative Research in Change Leadership and Education at Texas Tech (CIRCLE), and the Education Policy Initiative at Carolina (EPIC), and examine what we're learning about the power of coherent systems and aligned investments.
Connect with US PREP coalition members and invited leaders from across the country to share challenges, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
Identify practical strategies and lessons that can be adapted to strengthen educator preparation and workforce systems in your own community, state, or region.
