Pattie Parker
Pattie Parker serves as the Senior Director of Administration and Strategic Initiatives for US PREP. In this role, Pattie supports US PREP’s technical assistance strategies and senior leadership team by advancing strategic partnerships, organizational growth, and operational excellence. Her responsibilities include engaging state-level leaders to build partnerships and secure contracts that expand US PREP’s impact across its portfolio of work, leading internal and external communications, developing long-term strategy and scopes of work, cultivating relationships with funders and key stakeholders, and supporting grant writing and business development efforts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Sussex, UK.
Pattie began her career as a high school dual-credit English teacher in the Rio Grande Valley before serving as an instructional coaching and literacy district leader in Conroe, TX. Most recently, she was a Director with TNTP, partnering with Texas Education Agency leaders on statewide change initiatives, sustainable systems scaling, and HQIM implementation. Skilled in leading complex, multi-year initiatives and coaching senior leaders, Pattie believes large-scale change for students is possible through bold vision, capable leadership, and robust support systems.
Pattie lives in Bastrop, Texas, with her husband, Andoni, and their standard poodle, Prim. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures and sharing good meals with family and friends.
