Lesley Guilmart

Lesley Guilmart is a Strategic Staffing Regional Transformation Specialist. She supports teacher preparation providers and districts in their efforts to reimagine school, so more students receive the excellent education they deserve from exceptional teachers.

 She provides virtual and on-the-ground support, co-plans and delivers professional development, and progress monitors strategic staffing design plans to ensure ambitious goals are met.

Lesley began her career as a high school English teacher, spent five years as an instructional coach, led academic programming for five years as a school administrator, and in her most recent role, helped to lead a stand-alone alternative teacher certification program. She earned her M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of Houston and her BA in Psychology from New York University. 

In her spare time, Lesley loves to travel, hike, and watch movies with her husband and two children. She's also a voracious reader who relishes relaxing in a hammock with a good book.
