Danny A. Rojas


Dr. Danny A. Rojas serves as a Program Transformation Specialist with US PREP. He holds a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) from Harvard University, a Master of Education in Administration & Supervision from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Northeastern University. Danny began his career as a middle school teacher in the Houston Independent School District, where he developed a deep commitment to ensuring that all students, especially those from underserved communities, have access to exceptional educators.


Over his 15-year career, Danny has built capacity for lasting, equitable change by partnering with leaders across K-12 school systems, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations nationwide. At the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy, he supported school and district leaders in adopting evidence-based, equity-centered practices for improving student outcomes. At Career Pathways Initiative, he designed and scaled a national program that expanded access to career pathway opportunities for first-generation students. 


Known for bridging strategy and implementation, Danny brings dynamic facilitation, trust-building across key stakeholders, and a commitment to data-informed continuous improvement to every partnership grounded in curiosity, humility, and deep respect for the educators doing critical work every day.


Danny resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife Danielle and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, outdoor activities with friends and family, and expressing himself through visual arts.
