In this session we will share key research findings on the impact of student teacher residencies on K12 student learning and teacher retention. We will also share how we have been working with US PREP researchers to build research capacity and we will share emerging research agendas from across US PREP.

The Site Coordinator as a Systems Lever: Models for Sustainable Residency Programming
This session explores the Site Coordinator role as a critical lever for sustaining high-quality, accessible teacher residency programming across diverse partnership contexts. Participants will examine core responsibilities of the role and engage with example implementation models that demonstrate how Site Coordinators strengthen systems, improve cross-stakeholder coordination, and promote equitable access to quality learning experiences. Grounded in promising practices from the field, this session is designed to spark ideas and support local adaptation. Participants will leave with a clear vision of how the Site Coordinator role can drive coherence, sustainability, and meaningful impact within their own residency partnerships.

Grow Your Own: Building Enrollment Through Sustainable Partnership Pathways
As enrollment challenges and teacher shortages persist, educator preparation programs, community colleges, and school districts are seeking innovative Grow Your Own (GYO) solutions to elevate teacher preparation and strengthen the workforce. In this session, we will reimagine what’s possible and share ways in which districts, educator preparation programs and community colleges have collaborated through Partnership Pathways to build pathways to teaching that are clear, accessible and effective. We will gain a deeper understanding of how aligned partnerships can increase enrollment, strengthen teacher preparation quality, impact teacher retention and sustain GYO initiatives over time.
