    Khiandra Woods

    Khiandra Woods is a Regional Transformation Specialist. In this role, Khiandra works directly with universities and district partners to support teacher preparation program transformation. Khiandra is passionate about providing the transformation of programs to produce high-quality teachers and that will provide a high-quality education for all students.

    Khiandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Khiandra also went on to pursue a certificate in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

    Khiandra is an educator with over 20 years of experience in public education. Khiandra began her career in Grand Prairie Independent School district as a classroom teacher. She subsequently progressed into leadership serving as a TAP Master teacher, and as an Assistant Principal.

    At the university level Khiandra served as the Clinical Teacher Director at the University of North Texas at Dallas where she was instrumental in the transformation of their clinical program.

    Khiandra is a native of Louisiana currently residing in Mansfield, Texas with her husband, and children. Khiandra is the mother of four wonderful children, and enjoys spending her time with family traveling, trying new cuisine, and serving her community.
