Craig Morton

Dr. Craig Morton is the Senior Director of Data and Continuous Improvement. In this role, Craig continues his experience with institutional effectiveness by providing ongoing support to individual providers. During his career in higher education, Craig has worked in a variety of function areas including helping oversee faculty credentialing activity, degree program assessment, Core Curriculum assessment, and general institutional compliance and strategic planning initiatives.

Craig’s unique background and education are useful for addressing the challenges of 21st century data usage to meet both technical and interpersonal challenges. With an undergraduate degree in Human Development and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling, Craig strives to address the human aspects of data while using the skills he first learned from his doctoral degree in Higher Education Research to maneuver the complex higher education environment.

Craig is a life long West Texan and proud Texas Tech University graduate. He and his wife Shannon have three sons. Craig enjoys the wide open outdoors, early mornings in the gym, busy coffee shops, and a sitting on his porch with his dogs and a book.
