Andrew Bonaparte is a Regional Transformation Specialist. As an RTS, Andrew works alongside universities and their district partners to support every aspect of transformation. His responsibilities include virtual and on-the-ground support, co-planning and delivering professional development, and progress monitoring transformation plans to ensure the attainment of goals. Andrew believes that teachers play an integral role in equipping all students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful members of society. As such, he believes that preservice teachers must engage in high-quality teacher preparation programs that equip them with practical application of educational pedagogy and instructional practices necessary to educate our youth.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oakwood College (now Oakwood University), and he also holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Walden University.

Andrew lives in Arlington, Texas, with his wife and daughter. He enjoys watching documentaries, true crime shows, creating videos for his YouTube channel, cycling, hiking, and relaxing with family and friends.
